Enhanced empowerment of 9,000 FSWs, DWs, and SWs and their children in Vavuniya, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Gampaha, Puttalam, and Colombo districts to cope with the negative impacts of the ongoing socio-economic crisis in Sri Lanka through the promotion of effective livelihood initiatives; legal, psychosocial, nutritional, educational support, and; collective advocacy efforts to protect and promote their socio-economic and political rights that have been alienated from them.

To support 1,000 FSWs, DW, and SW to engage in successful businesses through skill development, start up support, and entrepreneurship development

To build the capacity of 9,000 FSWs, DW and SW, and 40 district CSOs to actively engage/network with duty bearers and power holders to push for their rights and entitlements, and to build a strong collective voice to advocate for their rights with the decision-making forums and policy makers

To provide legal and psychosocial support to 200 needy FSWs, DW, and SW to cope with emerging realities which promote negative coping mechanisms that have popped up during the current socio-economic crisis such as pyramids and exploitative microfinance scams

To provide education and nutrition support to 3,500 children of FSWs, DW, and SW to advance their nutritional and educational standards.

The project will provide capacity building. The project will be conducted over a period of 36 months.
